The Accessible Magickal Arts

The purpose of this site is to provide a place to find and request usable magickal tools and supplies that can't be found elsewhere.  A friend of mine was bemoaning the lack of Tarot cards that she could use.  One battered slate, a stylus that was continually getting lost later plus a blank Tarot deck, and we get one fat pack of usable divination cards.

  Braille tarot cards

This is where this entire venture started.  I Brailled a blank deck for a friend, and she told me I should sell them, so...here I am.  The first decks I did were with the number on the top and the name or suite on the bottom.  This requires a largeish deck.  I once did a miniature deck for a fellow in England (cheers!) who came up with a most ingenious labeling system - a unique two-letter identifier in the top left and bottom right corners, and one cell top right and bottom left to identify whether the card is upright or inverted.

NOTE NEW FEES

The standard charge for a deck is shipping, cost of the deck (if applicable), and $30 USD labor.  I'm upping my labor costs because it's really quite a lot of work for not a lot of return.  And it does still make my hands ache now.  Given that the average deck is about $20, that means it'll be about $50.  I know, it sucks just to get a usable deck of cards but I have to do these by hand and it takes ages.  If you have any questions or would like to inquire about ordering, please email magick@thespidersweb.org.

So now that you've emailed and we've worked out what you want, and how much it'll be,  I'll send you the bill through email with PayPal once the deck is complete and ready to mail.  If you change your mind (I will be annoyed!  But I'll get over it.) it goes up on this site here and anybody who wants it can buy it.

EVENTUAL ENDEAVOR TO PUT UP DESCRIPTIONS

Lots of people have wanted to know if I know a site that has descriptions of the pictures on the cards.  I don't.  I've never found one.  So I said, finally, that I'd do it myself.  It'll take a while, but here it shall be, eventually.

UPDATE

It's all good.  I'm back.  I'm open for business again.  But bear in mind, it'll probably be slow.  My hands still go funny sometimes and I'm always losing my stylus.  I'm ordering a new one...actually, three new ones.  That should keep me going for a while.  Thanks for everybody's patience and support.
